I had to add my 2 cents. I own a pure Egyptian Arab, Nazeer lines a Morafic
grandson. He is very smart, level-headed and bold. He hardly ever shies and
does not have a mean bone in his body. He tends to get grumpy on training
rided and I attribute that to the fact that he has such a good mind that he
gets bored easily. Take him on a new trail or endurance ride he's in 7th
heaven. His only fault is sometimes he doesn't pay attention and stumbles. We
have owned 3 different breeds of Arabs and Egypts El Sareei has been the most
level headed of them all. Satori often people have a bad experience with a
particular breed and they then label all horses of that breed as bad. My
husband has a polish arab that is sweet as can be but a total flake, shies at
invisible spooks on the train and is a spaz BUT I realize that is his
nature, very timid, and I'm sure that there are polish arabs that are the
exact opposite. Go get that Egyptian and if your'e ever in Reno, Nv. for the
Egyptian shows, Patrict Swazte gives wonderful talks on the Egyptian arab. He
raises and rides Egyptians. Linda and EGYPTS eL Sareei.
