I would recommend contacting the local extension office (usually with the
county 4-H office). They are a wonderful source for this kind of
information. The e-office should be able to tell how and what to test the
soil. If you do not have a local office, the land grant college in your
state will be able to help you. Use the e-office, they are there to help
and are woefully underused by the general horse owning population.
