The Summer Madness ride in Alabma was GREAT! The weather was not too hot and
the trail was fun but challenging. 22 started, 20 completed. All top ten
horses showed for BC. Food was good, management helpful, and vets were
thorough.
Bud Davidson won the 55 miler somewhere under 6 hours.
2nd - Terry Nance
3rd - Maria Threadgill on Beep
4th & 5th - 5 hrs 52 minutes - Roger Barrett and a female companion
6th - 5 hours 55 minutes - Genie Stewart-Spears on The Heatzon
7th - 5 hours 55 minutes - Julie Stout on Thor (first time 50 and BEST
CONDITION!!)
8th and 9th - 6 hours 17 minutes (approx) - a nice couple new to the
sport but I don't know their names
