Gee, I've been away from the cpu and work in general for a while. Spending
as much time with the mama and son as possible. Since Esperanza's whole
name is Esperanza Del Sol we needed to pick a colt name that went with
it. Keeping the idea rolling so to speak. Gee I had so many very good
suggestions, but surprising few from Equine-L. Some old friends submitted
and I did get a couple of really well researched lists of possilbes. So
as I'm sure you're just chomping at the bit to hear what we selected ;-)...
Orejano Del Sol
sorry ansi doesn't really allow for the proper accent marks. More or less
means. Wild Critter. (of or for the sun.)
He's blue roan with a black dorsal stripe. Very handsome. Nice shoulder
and pasturns. Born thursday before last. White star in in forehead 4
black hooves and a white sock back.
He'll be hitting the endurance trails in training rides in a mere 4 years.
Esperanza goes under saddle after this too early pregnacy later this
month. Looks like an interesting summer.
