I have a wire type heart monitor from Roger Rittenhouse. I love it!!
BTW, it is water proof. I have used it since '92, and only replaced the
batteries one time, and have ridden in the pouring down rain many, many
times. It has never messed up due to the heat and humidity of the
southeast, or from all of the sponging that I have to do to cool out my
Appy--who takes gallons of water sometimes!! Just my thoughts!
