I agree that you shouldn't drink those caffeine drinks for those reasons.
IN Addition, JOLT will burn some people's stomachs - namely mine (and I
don't usually have any type of GI problem with anything!)
I go for the water and haven't really needed fruit juice yet- I carry a lot
of extra weight so I bet I have a bit of reserves. I will eat an apple or a
banana to help if I am hungry on trail.
