I took my trailer down to Collin-Arndt yesterday to have the camper door
replaced that I took out on a fence post leaving the OD50 last weekend.
I was hung up in Harrisburg for an hour--traffic at dead stop every
direction! So I arrived late (hate that), but they cheerfully assigned
me my very own "trailer repair person"--a very bad thing to do!!!! Diane
began looking around, taking stuff out of the trailer, assessing where
extra hooks might be nice.... Ended up with a dozen new hooks, a way to
put a chain across the exit door so the children can't just bolt out when
we open the door, a new vent-scoop in the roof of the camper section (for
Odie who isn't getting enough airflow with the windows open--a 150 lb
Newf needs LOTS of air!), rewired so we can run the trailer lights off a
marine battery and not the truck, and oh yes, a new camper door.
These people are wonderful! They charged me the bare minimum for all the
work (I was there 4 hours) and I was allowed to putter around and
generally be a pest. And the work was done right and quickly. Very
impressive. Again--I highly recommend the Collin-Arndt Trailer Co.
