I wear cotton, lycra tights from Boink. The company is in Colorado and their # is 800-471-4659. I've found the tights to be very comfy and durable. I also wear half chaps with them mainly for a little extra grip when the big TB decides to do one of his famous leaps. I can't stand to ride in jeans anymore but I occasionally wear climbling pants. They are loose and have a gusseted crotch and elastic waist.
Boink sells the tights for around $55 but they they have a sale around xmas time for 20 - 40 percent off.
What do all of you wear on your feet and what kind of stirrups do you use? I had problems with numbness and soreness on the ball of my foot. I now wear Nike basketball shoes with the air chamber in the heel and forefoot. They have totally solved my problems. But they don't have a heel and that isn't too safe. I've tried regular riding sneakers but my feet got sore in them again.
I ride in an Aussie saddle with the 4 bar stirrups with a pad.
