Has anyone factored in the haircoat type? I havn't seen this variable
addressed. My grey mare is a wooley bear, and in fact I clipped her to keep
her cool at the GEO-BUN Buster ride last month. On the Jan and Feb rides,
she sweat profusely. The clip job seemed to make a big difference.

My light bay at home on the other hand does not get the wooley look at all.
I don't think I will ever need to body clip him. He has never sweat as much
as the mare either even in mid-summer.
