This may have been true in the past, Wendy. But, there are fewer greys
these days, even among Arabians.

I chalenge you to name 20 riders, here in the Mountain Region. Then, list
the color of thier horse(s). You'll be suprised how few greys there are.

Since a large majority of distance horses are of Arabian extraction, there

the chicken or the egg query:
Are greys more successful due to their colour, or, because grey is a
predominant colour among Arabians, do we simply see more of them in
endurance
than in other sports? Just a question.
