In the archives, there's a thread on nasty mares and regumate and a
reference to a regumate alternative: a "norplant" type of drug which gets
implanted under the skin and lasts up to eight months, etc...

What I can't find in the archives is the actual name of this stuff. If
anybody knows what it is called, where to get it, or if you have any
experience with the implant can you pass the information on to me.

My vet has only used regumate. However, based on the archived
postings, the implants sound much more practical in terms of human
safety and cost.
