Shots of any type can be very hazardous. Kasey had an apparent reaction
to the Rhino shot a couple weeks ago that was manifested in an extremely
stiff neck--so bad he couldn't even swing his face to the left to get a
carrot. I had to do an awful lot of trigger point myotherapy and slow
stretches over several days before we got his flexibility back.
You'll see warnings on PHF, strangles & other vaccines about side effects
like this. But with the exposure our horses get, can we chance not
vaccinating?
Are there homeopathic remedies available for the more common flus, etc?
