My vet sure does. The health certs. here include info on what shots were
given and when, any diseases within 5 miles, the record includes a pulse,
respiration and temperature as well as a general exam. It takes my vet
about 15 min to do the exam for one so it's a lot more than a "cursory"
inspection.
I make folders that I can put the horses Coggins paperwork, health cert,
my own vaccination, shoeing and health record, insurance papers, copy of
registration papers, brand inspection, Freeze mark ID card and riding
license info in. The front cover is a picture and description of the
horse. I carry these in the truck cab with me and can show them to anyone
at any of the stops. Works well for me.
