I'm in Fresno, CA. I have a reg. Arab mare, 7 years, 15h, sweet,
willing and ready to go but not quite big enough or fast enough for me. I've
had her since she was 4 and had done only one trail ride (short!). She's now
a wonderful trail horse, has done 4 25-miler, ready to condition for 50.
She's very manageable, with just enough competitive edge, lots of stamina,
does anything I ask. She's healthy, a lovely liver chestnut with lighter
mane/tail. I'd sell for $3000 or trade for an equivalent large Arab
gelding, 5-8 years, with at least some trail ride experience, no bad habits.
I'm not a novice, but not a daredevil, either, and we ride to finish. If I
don't find a home for her and get another endurance horse before the end of
March I'll be training her for 1996 season.
