ANother thing to be aware of w/ Aluminum trailers is that at least the
ones I've seen require acid washing yearly. That can get expensive, over
$500 here in So. CA for a 2 horse, more for a larger trailer. I've also
compared weight and a good well built aluminum is not that much lighter
than a good steel trailer. Be wary of steel and aluminum mixes. If they
are not built properly you have corrosion due to the electrolytic action
between the two metals.
