Tina, I have done it all, tent camper shell, and small used camper. I won't
trade my camper for anything! I can stand up in it. I bring along a
portapotty (didn't come with one ) and a folding picnic table. The portable
shade for the summer rides and the gas BBQ. OK, so I don't like to "rough"
it so much any more in my old age either, Bet after tenting next to a
stallion and our two mares were in season, I really don't care for that
option much. Taking everything out of the shell just to lie down got to be a
drag, and it wasn't insulated from cole or heat at all.

Well good luck. p.s., I found my camper for $450 used and the seller helped
my to mount it properly, too.
