I need some help:
When weather permits it, I am doing some heavy hill climbs with many rocks
and alot of water crossings. Two of my horses in conditioning training are
coming back with their feet nicked up. And I worry about stone bruises on
the legs as well as feet. I just purchased Neo-tek splint boots and the no
turn Davis bell boots. I bought them because of their reasonable price and
because this is what I see on the horses around here.
What I want to know is if anyone out there is using the Professional's choice
ll Sports Medicine Boot? how about their bell boots? I really think they
would suit my needs but I want to hear how well they work before I invest the
money. I did receive manufactures coupons for considerable discounts on
these items, still they are high in cost if purchasing for two horses.
Feed back would be terrific
For those of you in the cold weather how much have you increased your horse
feed? What other things have you done if any to protect your horse in these
freezing conditions? My horses have open barns to go in and out of. It keeps
them safe from the elements but they have frost on their faces all the same.
Thanks
