I have a Featherlight FRP (old enough to still be of great quality) I have
never had any problems with the FRP, however I did hear that the horses urine
on the inside could possiblly get into small cracks in the Fiberglass and get
into the plywood.. where it would surely rot out. Featherlight is no longer
making this type probably because they would be responsible to replace the
FRP since it is covered in the warrenty. I am not sure about this.. and like
I* said..I have never had any problems with mine which is an 1986 4 Horse.
Also everyone says that horses like to travel on the slant. I went to the ROC
in S.Dakota a few years ago with one horse. I removed all the divides and let
my horse stand where ever he wanted. He moved around a bit but mostly he
stood straight ahead on the right side. He is a strange horse in alot of ways
though. If I had it to do over I would get a all alum. trailer.. mostly for
the weight consideration.
