Hi Tina, I ride western and went from narrow regular stirrups to the wider 4"
ones and find that wider is definitely better. Also that riding sneakers are
more comfortable on the soles of your feet rather than hard soled boots, same
as with when you stand on your feet all day take the same considerations.
