Accomplishments:
1991: AERC National Lightweight Champion
1992: USET Team Silver Medal/World Championships/Barcelona
1993: Top Ten AERC National Championship Lightweight
1994: Short List for WEG/Holland
1995: Competed on 1996 World Championship 100 mile course,
1997 ROC course and Biltmore 100.
1996: Absolutely ready to be competed to his potential.

Reason for Selling: Owner wants horse to have the opportunity
to compete up to his potential. Owner seriously injured on
100 mile trail in Kansas when course was sabotaged. Horse
was fine. Accident happened at 91 miles, lots of horse left
at the time.

For someone aiming for the 1996 World Championship, he is a
great candidate. He needs a rider with a confident, forward
attitude. Stoney is ratable, but conceited. He's a perfect
businesslike competitor who is always interested in going down
the trail, hardly acknowledging horses as you pass. Good team
horse who can drag other horses if necessary.
Has been developed with a very strong base, never over-ridden.
Light, pretty mover with a big consistent effortless stride.
Very square and forward, with lots of heart during competition.
Consistent care in every way. One illness in six years (inflammation
of small intestine-surgically explored-medically managed).
Has completed 515 miles of competition since then.
He knows the ropes, ships well, lives outside, stands tied and
respects electric fence. Stoney presents very well at vet checks
and takes care of himself in competition.

This horse is a pro. He is now the perfect age and maturity to
compete up to his potential. I am asking $12,000.
