I, from the Central Region, have to second Truman's reason. Living in OK,
my CLOSEST ride is two hours away, and from there it jumps to 6-8 hours.
And I live in the center of the region! Timewise or moneywise, (but not
horsewise!) we can't do more than one a month.
But we get to do three endurance rides AT ONCE... the one getting there,
the ride, and the one driving home!
