Hello all- Does anybody out there in endurance land also compete in dressage
on the same horse that they ride in distance events? If so, what type or breed
of horse do you ride? I am having a bit of a midride crisis I think. Been
riding dressage mostly for several years- training my gorgeous TB who seems
more interested in jumping than perfection on the flat or being a trail
horse. The most fun I
have is when I take my braver horse out for trail rides. The most fun I have
EVER had on horseback was with my Arab mare (who isn't 100% sound now)-
going where there were hardly any
trails at all or galloping in the fields. Is it possible to combine these 2
disciplines and be good at both on one horse? I have lots of time to ponder
since there is 2-4 feet of snow on the ground now and more to come on
