I don't know where you live, but a friend of mine who live in Shingle Springs,
California has a lion(s) in her area. One cougar attacked two full grown horses
half a mile down her road. There was a timely article in Trail Blazer's latest
issue. It was suggested that horse be locked in the barn at night. Apparantly
cougars won't go into a building.
