[endurance] Death Valley ride?

Hi all,

Is anyone else out there planning on going to the Death Valley
Encounter? Judy and I are going, but Warpaint the Wonder Appaloosa is
staying at home this trip. He strained a patellar ligament (in his
stall, we think) after returning from the Silver State ride. Judy is
riding one of Donna Synder Smith's Mustangs, sort of a "rent-a-racer".
WP should be back in action in about a month or so.

We will be driving to the Bumgartners on Tuesday 12/26, then out to
the ride on Wednesday morning. Pat Gay (whom I met on the endurance
mailing list) will be our crew/driver/general adventure seeker. Let me
know if anyone else will be there- we will be sure to look you up. The
DVE is a neat ride. Judy has done the ride for the past two years,
and this will be my first time riding it.
