No, I don;t have children..nor to I advocate that a child learn about riding
from having a bad experience and NOT having a helmet. What I mean is that we
can;t proect anyone from everything and sometimes children don't believe
parents (my own experince as a child) so SOMETIMES, we have to let them get
"burned" to learn. The best way to get a child to believe you IS to set the
example. In other words, practice what you preach.
