I've used shock tamers, as have a couple of my friends. We've all
had bad luck. I prefer to use easy boots rather than pads. My
friend almost got pulled because her shock tamers started falling
apart (they were only on the horse for a week or so before the ride)
because rocks got inside. She had to cut them out at the vet check.
The same thing happened to me, though not at a ride. Maybe somebody
could suggest something besides jute or silicone to seal the back
with? Otherwise stuff will get in there. Has anybody else had that
problem too?
