Not a "flame" just as a comment, I bred, raised and sold Thoroughbreds for a
few years.
Yes they have pedigrees on-line. You had to enroll in the program and pay
not per minute, but per pedigree. The system had all kinds of problems. i
would look up a pedigree on for example a broodmare I was looking at
buying and half of it would flash up and then the system would drop
carrier and I would still get billed. This happened all the time, and was
quite a nuisance because you had to print the fragment you did get and
send the page where it dropped carrier to "prove" you didn't
receive it so that they would credit it to your account. It was more
trouble than I ever got use out of it.
Gwen, about paying for pedigrees. I don't know any on line stud books, etc.
that you don't have to pay for.
(My father does geneolgy research, and he pays for most of the
information he used also)
