Overhere the log book (passport) isn't with the rider during the ride, but
final results (completion Yes/No, reason for elimination, final pulse/heart
rate, total riding time, average speed and position) are written into the
booklet after the ride by the officials and signed by the vet.

This might perhaps be another option?

Of course ride management has to fill out the passports at the end of the
ride, but not all riders come in at the same time and overhere they manage
very well. As well, you usually get a final (computer made) results list
with your vetcard and passport at the prizegiving ceremony which is only
about an hour after the last rider/horse combination crossed the finish
line!
