We have one in the truck and it is about 3 times more powerful than the ones
you carry with you. So you have fewer, 'out of service' notifications. We
have used ours several times. I was out deer hunting, driving my little
pickup off road on the side of a mountain and it rings, my son just checking
on me. Sort of nice.
