Please try endurance... you AND your horse are
welcome here.

It's all fine and good to say that these are
"2 of the 5 basic philosophies...", but what
you are saying to ME is my horse belongs in
a dog food can.

I dropped philosophy
in college for a very good reason!

Magnum may be a broken-down ex-race horse, but he's
a lot of fun on the trails and he's completed
2 endurance rides and he stuffs his nose up to
his eyes under my arm and he loves kids and
people and carrots.

We'll never do a NATRC together because of his
10 year old injury. And I may never do one
because of issues like these. And that's a real
shame because I DO think NATRC has some things
to offer.

But I really REALLY get my blood boiling when
people are excluded from doing things because
someone else has decided they are doing it wrong.

Endurance. First one across "fit to continue"
wins... AND... truley, to finish IS to win.
