Hi all,

I'd like your help choosing a name for an award. I'm planning on
sponsoring/donating an award to the AERC to be awarded to every horse
that meets a specific set of criteria, to wit:

Ten or more years of competition.

Ten thousand miles or more completed.

Ten or more First Place finishes.*

Ten or more Best Condition awards.*

* In fields of at least ten starters; weight divisions OK
if there are at least ten starters in that weight division.

The idea is to recognize the horse that does it all, that
successfully races for first-to-finish and also achieves high
mileage. I plan to give a nice perpetual trophy to be kept by the
AERC with the names of the horses to be engraved upon it; the owner
of each horse will get a nice plaque to keep.

So far, only one horse has done this -- you'll never guess, but it is
Kahlil Khai (11,475 miles, 17 years [consecutive], 39 first places
and 49 Best Conditions). I intend to include his name in the award
name. But, I can't seem to think of a good name to call this award!

I've been thinking of the "Kahlil Khai Lifetime Achievement Award," but
somehow that doesn't have a real "ring" to it. I've also considered
"K.K. Quad-Ten Award," the K.K. Decathalon Award," or the "K.K.
Challenge Cup."

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. Kahlil is fit and sound at 22 years old ... he still loves to
get down the trail, and I might even take him on one last 50 this
fall (and make it 18 consecutive years).
