Kadance is 14 hands (I hope!) when you are on the ground next to him,
and 16 hands once you get your leg over the cantle, and he keeps up
with the big guys too. He's a real kick to ride , any deer trail has
endless possibilities! I think he's bigger than a deer.... I think! :^)

The first time I saw him I thought "Geeze, he's too small for an adult to
ride" but I was persuaded to ride him and, I gotta tell you, he has more
stuffing when he's out of shape than Shatirr or Cammie, who have lots of
mountain miles on them. The second time up the mountain, we had to trot
a mile on a steep incline to get his pulse to go over the 140bpm mark, and
this is unconditioned! Great things come in small packages.

Stacey keeps reminding me that Rio is only 14 hands.... Big is as Big does!
