Had the vet out to look at our youngster with the puffy foreleg. She said there
wasn't anything wrong with the tendon, and couldn't explain the slight
swelling. He has got a touch of mud fever, so it could be that. She also
wasn't at all happy with his shoeing. He trotted up OK, but then was
slight lame for a few strides after a flexion test. Since he was lame a couple
of times as a two year old - we never did find out what was wrong - she is going
to see him again on Wednesday and maybe do some xrays to be on the safe side.
Fingers crossed its nothing serious.
