[endurance] endurance saddles

I have just purchased a endurance saddle but I'm a bit confused about the
rear d rings. Most conventional (or western saddles) use a back strap to
hold the saddle down however the endurance saddle has the rings slanted
forwardas though the back strp should be attched to the cinch. How is
this done? What does one use to make this connection?
