We bought a Ford Power Stroke, 3/4 ton, 4X4, super cab, white. We weigh about
21,500 lbs loaded. That includes the truck. (we have a 32'(floor length)
fifth wheel with living quarters) and got 10-12 miles per gallon on our trip
to Utah for the ROC from Oregon. Most of the time we were in 5th with the
cruise control on. 65 mph was probably our average speed. We had a turbo 6.2
Chevy before and there is no comparison. We passed a Dodge Cummins going up a
hill and they only had a two horse trailer. My husband didn't like Fords, but
he wouldn't trade this Ford.
