Actually we bought a 95 Ford Powerstroke Diesel! Linda Cowles bought the
Cummins. The truck we got is a 95 extended cab, 3/4 ton, 4X4 with a full size
bed. It has tons of power, on hills and on the flat. Unlike other diesels we
checked out, this one has lots of power from the start. We had a 84 Ford 460
gas motor before. I never had any problems with power on that either. But this
new truck makes the old one seem wimpy!! We are getting about 20 miles per
gallon towing, as opposed to 5 mpg with the gas engine.
I'd be happy to show it off at Las Trampas! Linda loves her Dodge too - maybe
she can brag a bit also!
