The Swanton ride this year is including a 50 mile ride. Origonaly the 50
mile ride was restricted to only those meeting a certain criteria, which I
think included 250 carrer miles for the horse and rider team. This was
changed due to a rule to be an open ride. HOWEVER the ride does not end at
base camp and the crew must meet the horse and rider to pick them up at a
designated location about a mile or so from the finish line. This requires an
experinced crew! So have fun and good luck! I will see you there I will be a
gate keeper somewhere out on the trail and if my pin arrives in time I will
