I was there, but I am afraid I was not paying much attention to the riders.
The BC and first completion was by Marcia Smith.
No horses were treated other than was one sewed up for pre-ride activities
with the trailer and one tubed for slight colic.
The course had to be re-routed just before the ride. Jackie would never even
consider wimping out just because of the streams being a little high but when
preriding, one of the people riding with her was washed, along with the
horse, quite a ways downstream. Jackie found a bridge and made the trail
three loops without crossing the main stream up high.
The weather was great. The creeks were white water rivers. The wind blew
like never before at Bridgeport. Everybody was very pleasant and helpful.
The horses for the most part looked extremely good after the ride.
Sorry I did not worry more about placings.
