Every year the water level of the American river is lowered for the
Tevis ride. Someone must know somebody in a high place, since the
Western States 50 ride does not have that luxury. The snow up at the
top of Squaw Valley is the bigger concern. During the Western states
100 run in June, there was snow from Squaw all the way to Robinson
flat! Should be an interesting ride this year.

Does anyone know the status of Tevis what with the river running SO high?
