I ride in plain old good quality running shoes.
What I don't like about all the pricey horsey shoes is that they
have no real mechanism for absorbing shock like the running
shoes. Could you get off and run, or walk your horse out of the
back-country?
I also use flex-ride stirrups with toe guards-so that the running
shoes are safe to ride in. this combination is extrememly comfortable
