I can's speak for the AERC but there was a recent clarification about the
AHSA rules. According to the AHSA even natural substances are forbidden
whether or not they can be tested for. The rationale is if the substances
work as advertised then they are forbidden because they are being given to
gain an advantage. My own take would be that Adequan, DMG, MSM, yucca etc.
are all forbidden according to the AERC's rule on no foreign substances.
