All it means is a lot of hours being ridden. Many horses just need to get
older and have a lot of training.
The context where it was used in the letter Gwen is referring to is regarding
a young horse that spooks. What I meant was that he would settle down some
as he gets older and gets used to being ridden on the trails; ie. wet saddle
blankets.

Dr. TOmlinson wrote this. What the heck does it mean? I have seen horses
advertised as needing a wet saddle blanket, and am wondering. Is this a good
horse, or something to watch out for?
