[RC] Heart rate monitor - sherman

Title: Message
I love using my HRM for monitoring HRs while on the horse. Yes, they can be wrong, but you can usually tell if the reading is accurate or not. With my set up, Garmin 305, it works accurately more than 99% of the time. I love to watch the HR drop when we slow or stop, and, when riding a horse that loves to go too much and doesn't show any signs of stress, I like to make them keep their HR below a certain number. I have elastic in my girth, so never any problems with contact. At the vet checks, I use it to know how quickly (or not) to have the HR checked. It is interesting to see what can make a HR spike 20 beats too, like the sheep on the hillside not even close to us...remember that Ranelle (:>)
