Re: [RC] Fence'em/Equi-Safe HDPE Electric Horse Fencing - Renie

That's what I was thinking, Kathy.  I saw the product in person, and is it ever beautiful!  The poles have an almost invisible wire running in a spiral through it, and the rails snap into the posts.  Just a bit to much $$$ for my pocket book!

IMO, it's a big bonus to have the horses (or cattle) stay off the fence, whether  rubbing on it, leaning over it, sticking their heads thru it, playing with horses on the other side, or running their teeth along the rails (reminds me of nails on a blackboard and I have a horse that does it when he gets impatient!). I've seen our neighbors cows destroy pipe fencing of a slightly lesser quality than this, just pushing so much that the welds eventually break. My 2 playful horses currently  have skin marks on the sides of their heads from sticking them thru the pipe rails to play with each other during their 12 hour separation. Electricity would stop all that behavior, I think.
