I have a Sundowner 2horse LQ trailer with ramp.
I'm getting the damn ramp cut off and having a rubber bumper installed.
The ramp works OK on even ground. On un-even ground, it rocks and bothers
the horses.
The rubber padding on the ramp gets slick when wet and ice adheres to it
when it sleets. Thankfully, my horses have never slipped, but I have and
have had some spectacular falls.
The springs are slowly going, it weighs at least 500 pounds, and it's
starting to rust out.
Big, un-nessisary pain. Get a step. No fuss, no muss, all horses can deal
with it.
