Re: Clearing trail
These brush cutters are great tools. We have two, a Husqvarna and a Stihl,
both equipped with flail blades. You can make short work out of some pretty
tough stuff. For some types of brush, I work from top down, others, from
side to side. One soon learns what technique works on which type of brush.
I would think that a cordless saw would run out of power too soon to be of
much use. OTOH, you can't carry a brush cutter on a horse. Depends on how
one is getting onto the trail in question.
