I have used the same couple that Maryben has used quite a few years ago.  They were inexpensive and did some major teeth work with sedation on Beau and Beamer.  Beau did not suffer from it but I later found out that the couple’s reputation was questionable among certain health care providers.  They were certainly operating outside of any board qualifications with the application of tranquilizers, and I have heard that the dentristy board (don’t know the official name off the top of my head) are at odds with the quality of this couples’ work.

This is not to say that the equine dentists are not good or bad.  Most of them have to pass muster with the “Board” and that “Board” includes licensed veterinarians.
