Re: [RC] LD priorities - Ed and Wendy Hauser
Respect for LD's is ypical for the MW. LD and CTR on the same venue all
manage to work together. It is rare for an exit CRI to be delayed for more
than a couple of minutes. My ride always had two vets so one could exit CRI
while the other was supervising pulse taking on LD's and CTR's.
I more likely cause of a few minute delay would be if., in a cramped vet
area, the CTR's were due for a pulse check right then. At my ride meetings
I always tell folks to present for exit CRI in tack 10 minutes before
scheduled out time. That way almost all delays still allow an on time
departure.
On the exit CRI. The vet at our ride started requiring them a couple of
years ago. I have already seen it detect an impending crash. In that case
it most likely prevented a hospitalization or worse. Exit CRI's are well
worth the hastle.
