Howard, I for one am (once again) getting pretty sick of your childishness. Will you either grow up or go back into hiding? Joe Long has been around a H*LL of a lot longer than you have, so please listen to his well-thought-out suggestions and either get down off your soap box or advance to 50's.
In my area, we treat LD'rs with just as much respect as we do 50 and 100 milers. I've also been around a long time and am getting ready to start my young Arab on his distance career. Of course, we will begin with Limited Distance and Competitive Trail Rides. But we DO hope to graduate to 50's in a few years.
So either continue with 25 milers and abide by the AERC rules for this distance, or advance to 50 milers and see how it goes. But at any rate, just move along and stop jamming up RideCamp with your whining!!!!!
