[RC] Improving the top line. - Allegra

Well I spent all last year slowly working Saint back into workable condition. I planned to go on a few 25 milers, but being only 15 my plans fell through. This year I plan on doing the Shore to Shore ride in Michigan. But this time I have been invited by 2 different people AND my mother wishes to take me, so I should make it.

Now for my question. My horse Saint has a very poor muscling on the top of his neck. Well it's more that he refuses to use the top muscles and ends up supporting all of his head with the bottom part of his neck. I've been working at keeping his head in place, its allot of work! Are there any types of riding -- on hills, circles, est.-- that may help to get him using his neck properly? Thank you.

    Alley N Saint.

P.S. Does any one here know any place, or have any ideas, on english saddle bags. BIG saddle bags for an english saddle? (Not sandwich bags)
